ISO 22000 – FOOD SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
All food producers have an obligation and responsibility to manage product safety and consumer welfare regardless of the size or type of food production. The consequences of unsafe food can be extremely serious.
The international standard ISO 22000:2018 is addressed to all producers, processors, importers or suppliers and traders of food (retail & wholesale), where through the monitoring, observance and continuous improvement of the necessary procedures, the ultimate goal is the safety of final products.
The certification of the food safety management system according to the ISO 22000 standard is not only proof of the company’s commitment to the production and management of safe food, but also provides a number of other benefits such as:
- Identification and control of food safety risks at all stages of production, processing and distribution.
